Super Sexy Kelowna Wedding at Mon Reposa Luxury Penthouse

It was a great honor for me to photograph the super sexy Wedding of Amie and Cody at Mon Reposa Luxury Penthouse in Kelowna. Cody's mom has been my hairdresser since I was 8 or 9 years old and to be involved in her families' special event was a great privilege. Amie and Cody wanted their Wedding to be a VIP event from start to finish and the Mon Reposa Luxury Penthouse was an incredible backdrop for us to photograph at.

Vernon Wedding

Jenn and Ashlin both grew up in Vernon, but having lived in Vancouver for the past few years, their Wedding was a homecoming filled with lots of family and friends. We also wanted to incorporate some of Vernon's attractions, so for the couples first meeting, we chose the beautiful Kin Beach on Okanagan Lake. Thanks to the Vernon Yacht Club for letting us down on their wharf.

Armstrong Portrait Session

Barb and Brian were married in Armstrong on the May long weekend, and as a gift to the happy couple, their family got them a portrait session. Having grown up on the same street as Barb, I've known her my whole life and I was honored to capture her and her husband Brian. Congratulations Barb and Brian!

Cedar Creek Estate Winery Wedding

Jenny and Andy's Wedding at Cedar Creek Estate Winery and Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna was immensely fun from start to finish! There was so much of their personality in every aspect. From the special sunglasses (monogramed with their names) that all the guests wore, to the car they rented from Nixdorf Classic Cars, sea plane and a reception that was one heck of a party....Kate and I loved every minute photographing this dynamic and fun loving couple. Here is a sampling of just a few of our favorite moments from the day.

Jerry Ghionis Workshop

Last week I had the immense privilege of studying with world famous Wedding photographer Jerry Ghionis. Jerry is one of those rare instructors who can not only inspire, encourage and wow you with his imagery but he can teach as well. It was an incredible 5 days in Vancouver and I can't wait to incorporate what I learned in Wedded Bliss's Weddings this season. Thanks to my models Danielle & Brandon and Dave & Quin!

Jerry working his magic:

With all the cameras around...you would think I would have gotten a picture with Jerry before the last day of class when all I had was my Iphone!

Snap Okanagan times TWO!

Thanks to Snap Okanagan Magazine for getting two of our gorgeous couples in their July issue.

We were honored to photograph Amanda and Brock's Engagement Session for their upcoming Wedding in Kelowna & Tarla Rae and Curtis's Wedding at Spirit Ridge in Osoyoos back in May.

Congratulations to our two great couples!

Kelowna Engagement Session

Danny and Stephanie are getting married this August at the Walnut Beach Resort in Osoyoos. We hadn't met yet as they live in Vancouver and were a referral from one of our couples last year, Lena and Ryan. I LOVE meeting clients for the first time who immediately exude a warmth and love towards each other. They were also super cool to just hang out with :) Stephanie made sure to bring really cute clothes for all our different locations and we had lots of fun exploring new parts of Okanagan Lake, Knox Mountain Park and the Sun-Rype packing plant.

Kelowna Engagement Session

Julie first contacted me through an email. Her and her fiance Jason (plus children Jayden and Abby) were living in Cairo Egypt, but planning to be back in Canada for their August Wedding. I was intrigued by their experience in Egypt (it's a part of the world my husband and I want to desperately travel to) and couldn't wait to learn about their what life was like for them. Last week I got to finally meet them all in person and loved that Jayden and Abby were involved in a part of the session. Talk about photogenic kids! I LOVE their response to Julie and Jason's kiss :)
Julie and Jason, not to be outdone, did a fantastic job too and we had a lot fun exploring not only the Father Pandosy Mission but downtown Kelowna after a clothing change and a yummy lunch. Check out Julie's gorgeous ring....never seen anything quite so spectacular :) Well done Jason!!!
