On a Friday night, when most business owners are exhausted from a long week, Wedded Bliss and a number of other local businesses had the honour of coming together for an event to raise money for the Vernon Food Bank, Hospice House and the Vernon Search and Rescue. The Bay brought all of these local businesses under their roof and with each of us having our own displays, it gave us a chance to not only network amongst each other but meet lovely shoppers out looking for a sale or to lend their bid to the silent auction. Each of us donated a prize package and by the end of the night over $500 had been raised. It was a great event and we (Renee and Kate) look forward to more great events such as this.
