Engagement Sessions 2010

Over the past few months, we've had the privilege of photographing some AMAZING engagement sessions. The sessions have taken us all over-from Vancouver, to Penticton and home again....with the backdrops being vast and so much fun! Most of these great couples are getting married this upcoming 2010 season and we can't wait for their big days!

Wedding in Kelowna BC

For the past few years Kelowna has become a destination location for couples wanting to get married in our great weather and gorgeous scenery. On the Easter weekend, Alex and Karis (from Portland & Germany) came to the Okanagan with 14 family members and friends to celebrate their big day. I was honored to be among the few invited! They had rented a gorgeous vacation home on Okanagan Lake and we took advantage of Summerhill Pyramid Winery for Alex's first time seeing his gorgeous bride.

Engagement Session in Penticton, B.C.

Penticton B.C.'s lakeshore was the perfect location for our playful Engagement Session with Jen and Troy. The adorable couple is from Calgary, and planning a July Wedding here at Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna. Jen grew up in Penticton so wanted to take in the sites of her childhood town.

Engagement Session at Phoenix Steakhouse

I couldn't think of a better location for our super chic Engagement Session than the Phoenix Steakhouse in Vernon. The gorgeous couple, Cody and Amie are from Vancouver and we wanted a location that fit their big city personalities. I want to send a big shout out of thanks to the staff of Level II, at the Phoenix Steakhouse for graciously letting us use their incredible location.

April's Snap

Congratulations to Jenn and Damon-our April Snap couple. For those of you have read some of our older posts, Jenn and Damon win the long distance award for coming the furtherest for their big day-they live in the Arctic Circle where Damon is a Constable for the RCMP.

Canon 5D films entire Finale of House!

Hugh Laurie, as Dr. Gregory House, plays an unconventional, medical genius in the t.v. show "House". His narcissistic ways keeps his patients alive and his staff wishing they had a more appreciative boss. If you haven't had a chance to watch this favorite of my husband and I; start from Season 1 and I promise you'll be addicted.

Why I am blogging about all this? I just learned that the principal camera I shoot all our Weddings with, the Canon 5D Mark II, was just used as the only equipment to shoot the entire Season Finale which airs May 17th! I have always known I was using an incredible camera for capturing my clients love story, but I am embarrassed to say I had no idea how good the video capabilities of my camera were. Wedded Bliss Photography uses only the best with their clients!
