Kalamalka Provincal Park: Jace & Keira

I love sessions at Kalamalka Provincial Park in Vernon. We live in such a beautiful part of the country and the backdrop is spectacular. Keira & Jace were pros when it came to their session....their mommy loves photographing them too, so even though bouts of rain came down, we were able to get the session done in record time! Look for Keira to also star in our Monkey Doodlez photo shoot, modelling some of their new swim wear :)

Vernon Engagement Session at Kal Park

Over the Easter weekend, we were busy photographing clients who don't live in the Okanagan but were here visiting family and are getting married here this summer. It was wonderful to meet many of our brides and grooms and to get excited for their upcoming big days.

Robyn and Geoff are a super fun loving couple from the Vancouver. They brought along their beautiful Retriever Doodle, Henry, and we used the stunning Kalamalka Provincial Park as our backdrop. I learned they are the directors of an incredible charity in Honduras called Jugamos, meaning "Let's Play". It's located in a beautiful town called Copan, which I was thrilled to hear, since I visited the beautiful town many years ago and loved it!

Vernon Engagement Sessions

It is definitely that time of year for Weddings and Engagement Sessions....and over a couple of days we got to photograph three great couples in Vernon.

Ryan & Lauralee are a super adorable couple from Kamloops that are getting married this August in Kelowna at Summerhill Pyramid Winery. We also going to be doing a Trash the Dress session after the Wedding so watch for those images to be posted in the fall!

Shayleigh and Jace are from Kelowna and are getting married in 2011. Got to love Shayleigh's blue eyes! She knows how to work them :)

Our final couple, Jenn and Ashlin, are getting married this July in Vernon. Having not seen each for a number of weeks; they were more than happy to snuggle and kiss for our cameras :)

We can't wait to get these fantastic couples in front of our cameras again. We'll see you again walking down the aisle!

Vernon Engagement Session

It is a great honor for Kate and I when we get a chance to photograph a client for a second time....it means the client loved what we did and we are always excited to see an old friend.

For this Engagement Session at Kalamalka Park, we were honored to be photographing one of last seasons beautiful mothers' of the bride; Corrine.

Corrine and Rod are getting married this October and if that isn't enough excitement, Corrine's daughter Katherine just had a baby boy! Congratulations to Kevin and Katherine from last season.....they are one of a number of our couples expecting this year :)

Engagement Session at Kalamalka Lake

I had the privilege of photographing Kelsey and Eric on the perfect winter day for an Engagement Session. It wasn't too cold, it was a little overcast (making for perfect lighting conditions) and we had our first snow fall. Kelsey and Eric were naturals in front of the camera and I LOVED her accent of a blue scarf :)
