Life as we knew it changed forever on August 27th. Our hearts will never be the same.

Thanks to Kate Mahaits Photography for photographing these special moments.

From behind the lens, to in front of the camera

It's not often that I have a reason to be photographed. As a photographer, I have to say I much prefer to be behind the camera, capturing other's great moments. But for the upcoming birth of our first baby, my husband and I knew we wanted Kate to photograph us again. Kate (my associate extraordinaire) photographed our Wedding almost 3 years ago this August and now it was time to capture the next phase of our life....me pregnant with our little peanut....being born any day now!

Words of thanks do not accurately express our gratitude to Kate for capturing this new phase of our lives...and doing it so beautifully!

Kate Mahaits-Photographer Extraordinaire

Since August, if you have been to our blog, you would have noticed a lack of posts. For the blog, it was a sad lonely time. For me however I was off seeing the world and photographing some amazing couples; in some very exotic locales. During my stint away, my fantastic and talented Associate Photographer Kate has been meeting our clients and immortalizing their special day. To her, I owe a lot of missed coffees and along with our clients; many thanks! Enjoy the images from the three Fall Weddings she photographed...

August 18, 2007-A Little Girl's Dream Wedding

It's hard to believe it's been almost 10 months since my husband and I got married! Having photographed countless weddings I know how emotional a wedding is. What I wasn't prepared for was how intense all the feelings were. It's amazing how the simple words "I Do" change everything! The love only deepens and grows...and I love seeing a ring on his finger. So sexy :)
Even now as I gaze at the images that my incredible associates Kate Mahaits and Kurt Spence captured, I giggle and glow. I found the love of my life and we got to share our joy with our incredible families and friends.
Growing up where my husband and I got married made it all the more powerful (thanks mom and dad!) and yet even the vision I had for our day; as a little girl, paled in the emotions of the day. It was bigger than life and my only regret is that we can't go back and do it all again! It was some party.
