A few days after getting to photograph her moms' maternity session, little Skylar made her appearance :) In tow, was her adorable older sister Jovi and brother Coletin. How cute are these kids?
Tis the season for my last year Wedding clients to be calling me to say they have a new little one. I LOVE that call :) It is not only fantastic to see my past couples but I love the days when I get baby snuggles. Miss Sierra was 11 weeks to the day and the perfect little model for our session. I have known the Bryson family for a long time, so when they asked if I could be involved in their daughter Zoes' Wedding to Josh, I was extremely honoured. Having moved to Calgary over 10 years ago, coming back to Vernon, was a big reunion with friends as well so there were plenty of hugs and smiles. The ceremony and reception was at the beautiful Friesens Countrytyme Gardens and my only wish for the day (that wasn't granted) was that I could have gotten my hands on the wedding cake...it was made of my favorite cinnamon buns! Congrats. Josh and Zoe!

Even though it is Baby #3 for Christy (who is arriving tomorrow-I am so excited!) this was her first maternity session. I am so glad she decided to document her beautiful form. Starting at Elison Park, we then ventured on to a little piece of paradise on Okanangan Lake. Thanks Uncle Don for allowing us to use your beach! I am so excited to meet the beautiful baby girl who has made her mommy so very pretty.
Teresa and James are an adorable couple, who, on a vacation here from Ontario, wanted to have their Engagement Session done at one of their favourite vineyards, Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna. It looked like we were going to get seriously rained on but the rain disappeared and we were left with a perfect day. We wish them all the best as they plan their wedding for next May in Ontario.
Jeremy & Dena's dream Wedding was at the gorgeous Manteo Lake Resort in Kelowna. Originally from Kelowna, Dena met Jeremy in the States while attending University and it took the joyous event to bring everyone together. With one of the biggest wedding parties we've worked with, we loved all the fun, joy and laughter this group brought to the day. Congratulations Dena & Jeremy!
